The absolute eye-catcher of this blouse is its hand painted pattern. It was dyed in a traditional dye bath made out of chestnut leaves and painted with our self-made organic black ink.
As a power tree, the horse chestnut radiates a lot of warmth and supports grounding and rooting in the here and now. It helps people face reality and find the right place in life. The tree has predominantly round and radial elements emphasizing its centering effects. We hope that during the dyeing process we managed to give all that energy into the garment so you can absorb the same energy while wearing it!
This is a plant- dyed, handmade and unique linen garment!
Painted blouse MAPANÁ
All our garments are naturally dyed with botanical elements such as flowers, leaves, barks, seeds or kitchen scraps such as onion skin, turmeric peels or avocado peels and pits.
The color palette of our garments reflects the cycle of flowers, bushes, trees and vegetable plants influenced by the seasons of our latitude. We dye with the first delicate green and the first little flowers in spring, with bright colors of berries in summer, with fallen down leaves in autumn and in winter with dark seeds and fruits fallen down the trees.
The color resulting of each individual dye material is enormously complex and can never be reproduced. All our individual pieces are characterized by the uniqueness and perfection of nature.
